You can’t go there by yourself
I don’t know what exactly you thought when you read “there”, but does it even matter? Can you do anything all by yourself?
Can you, in fact, lead yourself to a path no one or nothing ever showed you? Can you even create an idea of the right thing without something or someone pushing you through the wrong one?
This is not the way you think. This is not depending on anything, but open your mind up for a moment.
There is always something, a sign, a person, even a word that gives us the direction to make the first small step to any big thing we go through. Imagine having your eyes closed, being in the middle of somewhere unknown, without anyone.
Now let’s suppose you started walking on your own, like the brave ones.
Because I wouldn’t even start walking, I would probably stay there and wait. Wait for anything. But never would I start walking with a blank mind.
…Would you dare take a step without any sign at all? Without anything showing you to a certain way, right or wrong. Would you actually do anything without having a purpose?
Actually sometimes we start taking steps just to get away from what we want, without having a real purpose, but this itself is some sort of purpose.
Now, is it called “being brave” walking to nowhere, or is it called “confusion”, “fear”; may it also be “stupidity”?
I would call brave someone who lets something guide them, who accepts any kind of help to lead them when they’re blind, who is not afraid to take steps as told by someone or something.
I’m brave… Are you?
